Fox Cities: St. Mary Central High School received a $2,500 grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation. The grant funds will be used to purchase equipment to benefit the football program, other SMC athletic teams and the physical education department.

Mr. Darrin Kuehn, SMC Football Coach, accepted the grant at a luncheon and press conference hosted in the Lambeau Field Atrium on Thursday, February 26, 2009.

“We are very pleased and thankful to the Green Bay Packers and their board members who spent time researching grant requests. The grant will be used to purchase a new field striper. Our current striper is archaic and time consuming. With this new piece of equipment, we will be able to meet the field preparation needs of our athletic teams and physical education classes,” commented Coach Darrin Kuehn.

“St. Mary Central High School is continually blessed to receive tremendous community support for our students, programs and school. We are grateful to the Green Bay Packers Foundation for their support and the impact that these funds will have on the SMC Athletic program,” said Mr. Michael Sullivan, President.

St. Mary Central, a regional Catholic high school, is part of Twin City Catholic Educational System (TCCES). The system also includes St. Margaret Mary and St. Gabriel Elementary Schools in Neenah, as well as St. Mary Elementary and Seton Catholic Middle School in Menasha.
