Project to create 30 jobs
MADISON- Governor Jim Doyle today announced a $3,000,000 Industrial Revenue Bond (IRB) allocation for Molded Dimensions, Inc. and L&M Sunset Road Property, LLC in Port Washington, Ozaukee County.
“One of the top priorities of my administration is to help move industries, companies, and communities forward, and ensure there are good, family-supporting jobs for our citizens,” Governor Doyle said. “I am pleased Molded Dimensions is expanding its facilities, creating jobs in Ozaukee County.”
Molded Dimensions, Inc. is a manufacturer of rubber and polyurethane mechanical molded parts for original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket industries. The company will use the IRB funds to help remodel its 30,000-sq.-ft. plant and to build and equip an adjacent 25,000-sq.-ft. plant at the company facility in Port Washington. The project is expected to create 30 jobs. Total project cost is $3,245,000.
Industrial Revenue Bonds are bonds free of federal tax issued by local governments, and the proceeds are loaned to new or expanding businesses for development projects. The interest rate is generally below the going prime rate.
